Check Your Extruder Gear!

One 3D printing troubleshooting tip you don’t hear a lot is to check your extruder gear for wear and tear.

As this is the part that pushed the filament through, when you have the nozzle too close to the bed, it can cause the gear to slip, and that can wear the gear down, as it is just brass, usually.
