8 Months!

The journey continues.

8 months sober!

Well, as of posting this, I’m a day shy, but I figured, close enough.

This has been an interesting journey. In the end, do I miss it? Sure, I do miss the taste of a chilled glass of white wine. And after moving a kid to university, 6 hours (3 hours each way), a frosty mug of beer would have been nice.

But, in the end, it was a cold Pepsi Zero (it used to be Coke Zero, and since they told me to be less white, I’m following their advice and not buying their products…) and that was just fine as well.

Also, I find that I am catching up on my reading, so that is a very nice trade off.
