DC Comics in the 2000s

I’ve been reading Superman Post Crisis recently, and the mid 2000’s really suck, story-wise.

It’s all so grim-dark, and makes me think back to the better days in the 80s and 90s, where there was some optimism in comics….

It’s almost like Watchmen was a big hit, so the powers that be decided to go down that path, not realizing the Watchmen was going that was for a very specific reason…
